Remember, there is but one Church; the Church of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ. The Church of God is not made by hands nor by denominations (i.e. Baptist, Lutheran, Methodist, Presbyterian); it is a living and breathing Church. You my beloved, are the Church. We are members of the body of Christ, and we are the temple of the Holy Spirit. God's children are in every nation of the earth. In 1 Corinthians 12 the Apostle Paul makes a comparison between the human body and the Body of Christ (i.e. the church).
(1 Corinthians 12:25-27)
25 “That there should be no-μὴ (me)-no, not) G4978-schism-σχίσμα (schisma)-rent, schism, (i.e. a split or gap ("schism"), literally or figuratively:—division, rent, schism)) in the body-σώματι (somati)-body, (metaph. The church is pictured as a body, or the body of Christ)): but that the members-μέλη (mele)-a member, limb, part of the body) should have the same care-μεριμνῶσι (merimnosi)-careful, to be anxious about:—(be, have) care(-ful), take thought)) one for another. 26 And whether one member suffer-πάσχει (paschei)-to suffer, endure, experience, (apparently a primary verb; to experience a sensation or impression (usually painful):—feel, passion, suffer, vex)), all-πάντα (panta)-all, the whole) the members suffer with it: or one member be honoured, all the members rejoice with it. 27 Now ye are-ἐστε (este)-ye are:—be, (second person plural of 'to be')) the body of Christ, and members-μέλη (mele)-a member, limb, part of the body) in particular-μέρους (merous)-individually).”
And again, In (1 Corinthians 1:10) we are told not to be divided:
10 “Now I beseech-Παρακαλῶ (Parakalo)-to call to one's side, (i.e. invite, invoke (by imploration, hortation or consolation):—beseech, call for, (be of good) comfort, desire, (give) exhort(-ation), intreat, pray) you brethren by the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak-λέγητε (legete)-to lay out, say, speak) the same thing-αὐτὸ (auto)-the same), and-καὶ (kai)-and, also) that there be-ᾖ (e)-may be) no-μὴ (me)-no, not) G4978-divisions-σχίσματα (schismata)-a rent, cleft, schism, (a split or gap ("schism")) among-ἐν (en)-in) you-ὑμῖν (humin)-you:—ye, you, your(-selves)): but that ye be perfectly joined together-κατηρτισμένοι (katertismenoi)-to adjust perfect, or fit thoroughly, (ethically: to strengthen, perfect, complete, make one what he ought to be) in the same mind-νοῒ (noi)-mind, will, (by implication, meaning:—mind, understanding), and in the same judgment-γνώμῃ (gnome)-mind, opinion, sentence, (i.e. (subjectively) opinion, or (objectively) resolve (counsel, consent, etc.):—advice, + agree, judgment, mind, purpose, will).”
It is very unfortunate that Christians fall under "schism" (i.e. Protestantism; Episcopalianism, Lutheranism, Methodism, Presbyterianism; Mormonism, Seventh-Day Adventism, Unitarianism).
Furthermore,
be careful when men begin to use language outside of the scriptures, such as: "total depravity, five points of Calvinism, once saved always saved, limited atonement, irresistible grace, original sin, eternal election, unformed faith, inherent ability, spiritually dead, unregenerate, fallen nature, final perseverance of the saints."... and the such. Remember what the Apostle Paul said:
(1 Corinthians 2:1).
1 "And I, brethren-ἀδελφοί (adelphoi)-brethren, brothers, (i.e. (spiritual) brother, fellow Christian, fellow believer), when I came to you, came not-οὐ (ou)-no, not, (the absolute negative)) with excellency-ὑπεροχὴν (huperochen)-a holding over or beyond, (i.e. with distinguished eloquence or wisdom) of speech, or of wisdom, declaring unto you the testimony of God."
And Paul also said:
"But I fear lest by any means-μήπως (mepos)-lest in any way, lest perchance, (lest somehow:—lest (by any means, by some means, perhaps)), as the Serpent beguiled-ἐξηπάτησεν (exepatesen)-to deceive greatly) Eve through his subtilty-πανουργίᾳ (panourgia)-unscrupulousness, cunning, (i.e. (in a bad sense) trickery or sophistry:—(cunning) craftiness, subtilty)), so your minds should be corrupted-φθαρῇ (phthare)-to corrupt, (properly, to shrivel or wither, i.e. to spoil (by any process) or (generally) to ruin (especially figuratively, by moral influences, to deprave):—corrupt (self), defile, destroy)) from-ἀπὸ (apo)-away from) the simplicity-ἁπλότητος (haplotetos)-simplicity, (i.e. (subjectively) sincerity (without dissimulation or self-seeking), or (objectively) generosity (copious bestowal):—bountifulness, liberal(-ity), simplicity, singleness)) that is in Christ" (2 Corinthians 11:3).
Brothers, I encourage you to always verify what is being taught, be a good Berean. Also, beware of men who say only the original manuscripts/autographs/letters are the infallible and inspired word of God, meaning, they question the authenticity/accuracy of the surviving manuscripts that bare witness to the originals.
"The words of the Lord are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. Thou shalt keep them, O Lord, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever" (Psalms 12:6-7).
